Both highly acclaimed for their expertise in Romantic repertoire they perform with enviable rapport and panache.
2015 sees them perform together as part of the ‘Ravel and Rachmaninov’ festival in Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall where Noriko Ogawa is an Associate Artist.
Their programmes includes works by Mozart, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, and Saint-Saëns.
Since his success as joint winner of the 1982 International Tchaikovsky Competition, Peter Donohoe has gained international renown as one of the foremost pianists of our time, for his musicianship, stylistic versatility and commanding technique.
Noriko Ogawa has achieved considerable renown throughout the world. Appearing with all the major European, Japanese and US orchestras, as well as an extensive discography with BIS Records, Noriko’s highly acclaimed performances set her apart from her contemporaries.
