Janina Fialkowska Makes Triumphant London Return

The first, on 25 October, was a brilliant solo recital at St Peter’s, Eaton Square, as part of the Autumn Series of Eaton Square concerts. Next, it was off to Barbican Hall on 02 November, for a performance of the Paderewski Piano concerto, alongside the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michal Nesterowicz. Janina played with and with ‘evident relish and affection,’ according to Arts Desk , and ‘virtuosity’ as said by The Times. If you missed this incredible performance, don’t worry, Janina will rejoin the BBC SO on 6 January for a second performance of the Paderewski in Poland, and it’s still available to listen to on BBC Radio 3 iPlayer until 02 December.
