Ikon Arts Management’s newest artist, Noriko Ogawa, has received a fabulous review in BBC Music Magazine’s October issue for her new Rachmaninov disc, which also features the Malmö Symphony Orchestra conducted by Owain Arwel Hughes.

The description of Ogawa’s playing is that “She ensures that beauty, clarity and richness of sound are sustained at all costs.” In reference to Rachmaninov’s Fourth Piano Concerto, Ogawa is highly praised – “The clarity of Ogawa’s fingerwork in some of the fast passagework in the Finale is a joy to behold.”

The CD has received a five-star review for both the performance and recording, and is wonderfully summed up with the comment: “By any standards, this is an outstanding release.”
