From September 2012, the Tippett Quartet will be Artist in Residence at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. The Tippett Quartet pursues a keen interest in educational work with both schools and universities. This residency will allow the quartet to further its relations with the University of Cambridge, and in particular, Sidney Sussex College. This appointment comes at a particularly suitable and exciting time for the quartet as it welcomes a new viola player, Lydia Lowndes-Northcott.
