She’Koyokh’s brand new album, Wild Goats & Unmarried Women, is released today on World Music Network’s Riverboat Records and has already been a hit with the critics, earning itself 5* reviews in the Evening Standard and The Australian and a 4* review in The Guardian.
Hailed as “one of London’s musical treasures, playing the best Balkan and klezmer music in Britain” by the Evening Standard and “among the finest klezmer ensembles on the planet” by The Australian, She’Koyokh have developed from their origins of busking in Colombia Road flower market into “impressive exponents of klezmer and traditional styles from Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey and the Balkans” (The Guardian) and Wild Goats & Unmarried Women is both “their most accomplished” (Evening Standard) release and “one of the most striking aural experiences in a month of sabbaths” (The Australian).
She’Koyokh will launch the album in concert on Thursday 27th March at The Forge in Camden. Like the album itself, the launch concert is sure to be “an east European musical odyssey of verve, variety and virtuosity” (The Australian).
