Peter Donohoe returns to London’s Wigmore Hall on July 21st at 7.30pm to perform his ‘Opus.1’ programme.
Donohoe describes it as “A feast of youthful greatness…
… Juvenilia it is not – it is one of the most rewarding programs I have ever devised. These are the first published works, and, as such, show each one of them as already mature, original and totally diverse. The Berg, Schumann and Brahms are, in particular, all masterpieces”
Tchaikovsky: Scherzo á la Russe and Impromptu
Prokofiev: Sonata no. 1
Schumann: Abegg Variations
Brahms: Sonata no. 1
