From the Royal Opera House to Classic Quadrophenia at the Royal Albert Hall: another busy weekend for Dominic Peckham.

Dominic Peckham presents his second Big Screen event of the year from Trafalgar Square on Friday evening – a live screening of Don Giovanni from the Royal Opera House which will be broadcast across the UK. Presenting with Martha Kearney, this event follows on from a screening of La Bohème earlier in 2015. The duo will appear again in September for the live screening of the Royal Ballet’s performance of Romeo and Juliet.

This weekend, Dominic leads the final preparations as Chorus Master of Pete Townshend’s Classic Quadrophenia in the Royal Albert Hall. This is the first performance of this orchestrated version of Townshend’s iconic 1973 album and features the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Oriana Choir, Alfie Boe and conductor Robert Ziegler. The show on Sunday night is already sold out, but the music is available on CD from Deutsche Grammophon, and the Royal Albert Hall performance will be shown on Sky Arts on Monday 6 July from 20:00.
