On Wednesday 16th November, saxophonist Tim Garland will be joined by the Sacconi Quartet for a special concert featuring the world premiere of a new work: ‘Re:Focus’, a reinvented version of Stan Getz’s underground hit Focus.
The concert, at Wigmore Hall, is part of the EFG London Jazz Festival and also continues Tim’s 50th Birthday celebrations, which have included performances at the Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho, St George’s Bristol and Sage Gateshead Newcastle.
Tim Garland and the Sacconi Quartet will be joined by violinist Thomas Gould, percussionist Asaf Sirkis and with Yuri A. Goloubev on double bass. Tim will also perform a host of other world premieres.
Tim featured on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune on Friday 11th November (listen here.)
