The only British winner of the London International Piano Competition, Ashley is an established soloist and chamber musician, as well as Artistic Director of the Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival.
Ashley is renowned for his broad and eclectic repertoire, receiving glowing reviews for his interpretations of composers such as Liszt, Franck, Beethoven and Bridge. He has performed at many of the world’s finest concert halls including the Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Vienna Konzerthaus. He recently performed at LSO St. Luke’s, and the ‘unusual meditative tenderness’ was praised by the Telegraph.
Ashley can be found frequently collaborating with other artists. His partnership with Matthew Trusler has produced various projects, such as Wonderland 150, an accompanied, staged Pride and Prejudice and silent films accompaniments.
