Fenella Humphreys releases new Richter disc with concert at at Proms at St Jude’s

This evening, acclaimed British violinist Fenella Humphreys will launch her new Richter: Four Seasons Recomposed disc, with a concert at Proms at St Jude’s

Programme includes Max Richter’s Four Seasons Recomposed, Barber’s Adagio for Strings and Arvo Pärt’s Fratres.

The disc will be officially released on Friday 28th June with Rubicon Classics; one track is currently available to pre-download.

The eagerly-awaited disc has already been chosen as one of BBC Radio 3’s pick of new releases on Essential Classics; has been chosen for Apple Music’s Classical A-List; and has been described by Radio 3’s Record Review as “…a delight. The whole thing is gently expressive, meditative, touching and very effective.”
