Tai Murray has received a number of excellent reviews for her recent performances with the Chineke! Orchestra across the UK and Germany. The Times have called her performance of Bruch’s Violin Concerto at Queen Elizabeth Hall “emotionally charged and highly compelling”. Read some of the reviews below:
Murray “brought a strongly individual sensibility to the work” – Evening Standard
“Right from her opening flourish, hers was a Bruch Violin Concerto to reckon with” – The Times
“Murray conjured up some intensely voluptuous moments” – Bachtrack
Murray has been a frequent collaborator with the Chineke! Orchestra and earlier this year was featured on their latest album ‘Spark Catchers’ which was released on NMC Recordings.
Murray will be touring with the Chineke! Orchestra again in May this year, performing Schubert’s Piano Quintet in A ‘Trout’ and Samuel Coleridge Taylor’s Piano quintet in G minor, Op 1 in Brighton and Paris.
