Stile Antico are delighted to announce their new recording partnership with Decca Classics. Their partnership will see three new albums released over the next 5 years, celebrating significant anniversaries of the renaissance giants Josquin des Prez (2021), William Byrd (2023) and Palestrina (2025).
The first album in the trilogy, ‘The Golden Renaissance’, will explore the music of Josquin and focuses on the composer’s stunning Missa Pange Lingua. The album, which will mark the 500th anniversary of Josquin’s death, will be released on January 29th and their first single from the album ‘Ave Maria’ is out now on Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music!
